A first for Lillian!
On Saturday afternoon we got to take Lillian to her first movie at a movie theater! We all went at saw The Tale of Despereaux. It was a pretty good movie! I'm not usually big on movies about mice and rats, but this was OK. It was all about heroism and truth and being noble. And both girls enjoyed it. It was fun to see Lillian sit in her booster seat eating popcorn and watching the huge screen! She is growing up!

Cute! Is that movie based on the book? I think that book is a Newbery Medal winner...anywho! I'm totally in agreement about the mice/rat movie/book thing...maybe in a couple years the aversion will wear off! :-)
I love "The Tale of Desperaux"!!!!!!!! It is my absolute favorite book right now! I read it a few years ago. Then I started reading it to my nieces, just before we found out the movie was coming out. My nieces saw the movie and said it was not nearly as good as the book. So I am not so sure I want to see the movie now.
